Golf is on the third Tuesday of each month from March through October. The schedule for 2010 has not yet been determined.

The bridge group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 1 PM at the Discovery Bay Country Club.

The walking group meets every Tuesday morning at the Discovery bay marina for a walk on the levy. We start at 7.30am and finish in about 45 minutes.

Pickle Ball: Bob Lyman
Any you SIRs who have an interest in doing something slightly more active than a long walk, should give picle ball a try. We have beginner pickle ball every Monday at 9.30am and Wednesday at 2.00pm at the Discovery Bay public tennis courts on Willow Lake Road.

If you have ever played racquetball, tennis, squash or badminton, you will find this game somewhat similar, but with less energy required using a large ping pong type paddle and a wifle ball on a badminton sized court.

To give it a try, all you need do is bring yourself; We have all the equipment needed.
